the heart of Anchorage, blends boutique hospitality with a distinct Alaskan
touch. We’re seeking a hands on Director of Food and Beverage to lead F&B
operations and elevate the guest experience across all dining, beverage,
and event outlets.

Position Summary

The Director
of Food & Beverage provides strategic and operational leadership for all
food and beverage operations at The Wildbirch Hotel, including Crimson, Deck 85,
Undertap, and banquet/catering. Partnering with the hotel General Manager
and Executive Chef, this leader drives exceptional guest experiences, financial
performance, operational excellence, and team development while fostering
a high-performing culture. This is more than a 9 -5, we are looking for someone
with the ability to cultivate and create a uniquely Alaskan experience.


Key Responsibilities

· Lead, coach, and develop
managers and team members across all food and beverage operations, fostering
a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous development
from banquets to in room dining.

· Drive financial performance through
budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, and revenue
optimization.

· Partner with the Executive Chef to deliver innovative
menus, consistent quality, and effective food cost management.

· Ensure
compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service
standards.

· Elevate the guest experience by maintaining exceptional
service standards and resolving guest concerns proactively.

· Oversee
purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, and operational resources across
all outlets.

· Collaborate with the Sales team to execute successful
banquet, catering, and group events.

· Maintain operational excellence
through effective scheduling, performance management, and adherence to company
standards and policies.

· Support hotel-wide initiatives alongside
ownership, GM, and regional support teams


Qualifications

· 5+ years of progressive food
and beverage leadership experience in a boutique, lifestyle, or full-service
hotel environment.

· Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager,
Food & Beverage Manager, or Director of Food & Beverage preferred.


· Proven success leading multiple food and beverage outlets with full P&L
accountability, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Experience managing
multi-outlet hotel food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars,
and banquet/catering.

· Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead
high-performing teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

·
Strong business acumen, communication, leadership, and problem-solving
skills.

· Proficient with hospitality technology, including POS,
reservation, inventory, and financial management systems.

· ServSafe
Manager Certification and TAP (or equivalent alcohol server certification)
required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

· Ability to work
a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business
needs require.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

the employer.

management company that is responsible for all employment benefits
