The Clayfield is a new
102-room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of
the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada,
the hotel will deliver a refined, highly personalized guest experience grounded
in calm luxury, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.
The Spa at
The Clayfield is a thoughtfully designed, intimate space offering a refined,
restorative experience that reflects the hotel’s sense of place, craftsmanship,
and quiet luxury. It is not simply an amenity, but a core expression of
the guest experience—where every detail, from treatment to environment,
is considered and intentional.
The Spa Receptionist
is often the first and last impression of the spa experience. Reporting to
the Spa Director, this role delivers warm, personalized service while ensuring
every guest enjoys a seamless luxury experience from arrival through
departure.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality,
enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in creating memorable guest
experiences.
What You'll Do
Welcome guests warmly
and professionally.
Manage appointments, reservations,
confirmations, and guest inquiries.
Process payments, memberships,
gift cards, and retail purchases.
Provide knowledgeable
recommendations regarding treatments, services, and spa amenities.
Promote spa packages, promotions, and retail products.
Coordinate
therapist schedules and maximize booking efficiency.
Ensure
reception, retail, and lounge areas remain immaculate and well-stocked.
Maintain inventory of retail displays and guest amenities.
Support laundry, stocking, and light housekeeping throughout the spa
as needed.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with all spa departments to deliver seamless service.
Maintain accurate guest records while respecting confidentiality.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience
in luxury hospitality, hotel, spa, or guest services preferred.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Strong
computer skills and experience with spa booking software is an asset.
Professional appearance and polished communication.
Passion for hospitality and personalized guest care.
Experience
with retail sales and achieving sales goals.
Ability to multitask
in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability including
evenings, weekends, and holidays.
