Job Description

The Loss Prevention Supervisor will lead by example to uphold a safe, secure,
and welcoming environment for all guests and employees. Your leadership
in patrolling, incident response, and team supervision ensures that hotel
operations run smoothly and that all policies and procedures are consistently
enforced. By fostering a proactive security culture, you help minimize risk
and build trust across the property.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE &
FUTURE

  • Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer
    with management, interview guests and employees and interrogates persons
    to detect infringements, investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts,
    vandalism, etc.
  • Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions
    and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
  • Warn or eject
    troublemakers and cautions careless persons.
  • Obtain assistance
    for accident victims and file accident reports.
  • Notify staff
    of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
  • Assist management
    and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
  • May enter and check
    rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions
    and to seize any remaining personal property
  • Other duties
    as assigned.

  • Ability
    to guide, support, and train Loss Prevention Officers while maintaining a calm
    and authoritative presence on property.
  • Skilled in handling
    disturbances, guest complaints, and security incidents with professionalism
    and discretion.
  • Exercises sound decision-making in high-pressure
    situations, including emergencies and policy violations.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
    in security or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or an equivalent
    combination.
  • Patrolling hotel areas, including lobbies, corridors,
    and public spaces, to maintain order and deter threats.
  • Investigating
    thefts, vandalism, guest concerns, and suspicious behavior.
  • Managing
    emergency responses and assisting in accident situations.
  • Monitoring
    safety equipment and reporting hazardous conditions.
  • Identifying
    and addressing guests with questionable reputations or concerning behavior.

  • Supervising Loss Prevention Officers, providing guidance, coaching,
    and direction.
  • Supporting hotel leadership during high-volume events
    or group stays.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • High School
    Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Rate: $25/hour

This
position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer
of individuals working at this hotel may be a third-party management company
that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at
this location.
