About the job

Based at the Mandarin
Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Commercial team in Riyadh,
the Reservations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily
operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring exceptional service
standards, accurate reservation management, and optimal revenue performance.
The role provides leadership, guidance, and development to the reservations team
while working collaboratively with Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Rooms
Division, Spa & Wellness, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments
to maximize occupancy, enhance guest satisfaction, and drive profitability.


The Reservations Manager ensures the integrity of reservation systems
and data, supports forecasting and revenue optimization initiatives, monitors
market and business trends, and contributes to the hotel's commercial
objectives.

As Reservations Manager, you will be responsible
for the following duties:

  • Support and adhere to all
    policies & procedures relating to Safe, Sound and Sustainable at Mandarin
    Oriental.
  • Ensure compliance with the MOHG Social Media Policy, i.e.
    to be fully responsible for the content you publish on any social media
    platform, including your personal site.
  • Ensure a warm and genuine
    Telephone experience for all callers.
  • Ensure accurate communication
    of information and guest requests to all relevant departments.
  • Handle
    all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully.

As Reservations Manager, we expect from you:


  • Supports customer loyalty and property’s brand standards by delivering
    service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Ensures
    an excellent working relationship with all colleagues within the hotel.

  • Leads by example in fostering positive colleague relations and demonstrating
    values.
  • Trains the agents in areas of up selling, cross-selling
    and ongoing skill set knowledge.
  • Maintain the System, ensure all
    the bookings, rates and market codes are up to date, ensure all key accounts
    are in profile track, and accurate.
  • Ensure all Policies and Procedures
    are understood and adhered to by all agents.
  • Assist in preparing daily
    no-show and late cancellation, weekly and monthly reports.
