Mandarin Oriental, Boston is looking for a Part-time Turndown Attendant
to join our Housekeeping team.

About the job

Based
at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston within the Housekeeping Department in Boston,
Massachusetts, the Turndown Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness
or all guestrooms that they are assigned to clean.

The Turndown
Attendant reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

As
Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for the following
duties:

  • Place the finishing touches on our hotel rooms for
    a comfortable and restful evening.
  • Turn down beds, draw curtains,
    and refresh towels, ensuring everything meets our high housekeeping standards
    of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Vacuum carpet and dust furniture,
    surfaces, vents, and baseboards.
  • Provide warm, professional service
    to guests, whether addressing their questions or handling special housekeeping
    requests.
  • Report any defects in guest rooms and public areas, including
    damaged fixtures or furniture, for correction by the appropriate
    department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

As a Turndown
Attendant you will work evening shifts.

As Turndown
Attendant, we expect from you:

  • Possess 1-2 years of experience
    in the Housekeeping department of a luxury hotel or residential property

  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language

  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
  • Ability
    to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Compensation

The hourly rate of pay for
this position is $32.95.
