About
the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Security
Department in Singapore, the Security Officer is responsible in ensuring
conformity of work standards and consistency in carrying out departmental
operations and security within the premises of the hotel.

The position reports to the Security Manager.

As Security
Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Reports
directly to Security Supervisor on shift. Assist in carrying out operational
and administrative duties. Ensure conformity of work standards and consistency
in carrying out departmental operations and other security and safety related
tasks. Any other duties as assigned by Security Supervisor or above from time
to time.

As Security Officer, we expect from you:


  • Responsible for the protection of lives and property against crime,
    violence and other hazards and for securing classified information


  • Responsible for all aspect of security and safety work within the entire
    Hotel complex and its perimeter

  • To carry out all Hotel security
    and safety operation, special events and emergency responds


  • Reports directly to Security Supervisor or above

  • Patrol
    and visits all locations requiring special attention as frequently
    as required

  • Perform static duties as assigned


  • Ensures maximum guest, employee and hotel safety and security at all
    times

  • Responds immediately to emergency situations and security
    calls

  • To be courteous, tactful, and helpful, but firm
    in enforcing hotel policies and procedures

  • Reports in writing
    all activities during each tour of duty

  • Verify all incoming
    postal mail and delivery of supplies

  • Abatement of fire
    and safety hazard

  • Conduct preliminary investigation


  • Any other duty undertook by Security Department
