to join our In Food & Beverage Team!

dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant

renovated event facilities, including a grand historic
ballroom.


About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental
Savoy, Zurich within the Food & Beverage Department, the In Room Dining Manager
is responsible for leading the In Room Dining Team and ensuring exceptional
service for guests. The In Room Dining Manager reports to the Assistant Director
of Food & Beverage.


As In Room Dining Manager, you will
be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Responsible for managing
    the in-room department
  • Responsible for leading the team

  • Maintaining contact with the guests
  • Acting with foresight

  • Providing exceptional service for memorable experiences
  • Managing
    and monitoring the quality of work and guest satisfaction
  • Managing
    the profit and loss account of your department

As In Room
Dining Manager, we expect from you:

  • Completed training
    in upscale hospitality or gastronomy, ideally with 2–3 years of experience in
    a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills and organizational talent,
    combined with the ability to manage a multicultural team
  • High
    flexibility and resilience – weekend and holiday shifts are part of the job

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interactions
    with guests and team members
  • Confidence and a well-groomed,
    professional appearance
  • Passion for exceptional service and a keen
    sense of trends in the hospitality industry
  • Strong IT skills
    and experience with POS systems
  • Excellent knowledge of German
    and English.

    Further foreign language skills are an advantage
  • Successful applicants
