the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and play a vital role

In addition, this role requires
the following minimum qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting
or Finance; professional accounting qualification preferred - Minimum 3
years’ experience as a General Ledger Supervisor or in a similar managerial
accounting role within hospitality - Strong knowledge of financial
reporting, general ledger, and internal controls - Familiarity with local
tax laws and government liaison experience - Proficient in Microsoft
Office and hotel financial systems; Hilton standards knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Detail-oriented,
reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Flexible
with working hours, especially during month-end closing

Here’s
what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Ledger Management:
Adjust general ledger accounts and maintain supporting
documentation. - Compliance Review: Investigate cashier
discrepancies and verify travel agent commissions
for compliance. - Budget Support: Assist the Director
of Finance and the Assistant DOF in budget and forecast
preparation. - F&B Control Oversight: Review food
and beverage control adjustments
and certifications. - Interdepartmental Coordination:
Collaborate with other departments and government agencies on accounting
matters. - Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting
policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
