exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be responsible
for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all fire safety
procedures and emergency response plans in the hotel. You will ensure compliance
with local and national fire regulations, conduct regular fire drills, and train
staff in fire prevention and emergency evacuation procedures.

In addition, this role requires
the following minimum qualifications:
- Diploma or degree
in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, or related
field - Minimum 5 years of experience in fire safety or emergency
management, preferably in hospitality or facilities management - In-depth
knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency response
protocols - Strong leadership and training facilitation
skills - Excellent communication and report-writing
abilities - Experience coordinating with regulatory bodies and internal
departments - Proficiency in safety management systems and fire safety
equipment maintenance - Certification in fire safety management from
a recognized authority (e.g., NEBOSH, NFPA). - Ability to work flexible
hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Here’s
what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Fire Safety Planning
& Compliance: Develop and maintain fire safety and emergency
response plans in line with local and national regulations; ensure all fire
safety systems are regularly inspected and operational. - Training
& Staff Development: Conduct fire drills and provide ongoing
training to staff on fire prevention, emergency procedures, and equipment
usage. - Risk Assessment & Incident
Investigation: Perform regular fire hazard assessments, implement
corrective actions, and investigate incidents to improve safety
protocols. - Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Collaborate with engineering, housekeeping, and security teams to integrate fire
safety across hotel operations. - External Liaison:
Work with fire authorities and inspectors to ensure compliance and readiness
for audits. - Health & Safety Compliance:
Monitor adherence to fire safety and health regulations; update policies
as needed. - Emergency Response Leadership: Lead
evacuation procedures during fire emergencies and oversee fire safety equipment
maintenance.
