The Beverage

bars, lounges, restaurants, banquets, and special events. The role ensures
exceptional guest experiences, effective cost controls, beverage innovation,
and compliance with company standards, health regulations, and responsible
alcohol service practices.

As the Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for performing
the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Oversee
the daily operations of all beverage outlets to ensure excellent guest service
and operational efficiency. - Ensure all beverage venues operate
in accordance with established brand standards, policies,
and procedures. - Monitor service delivery and conduct regular
quality assessments. - Develop and maintain standard operating
procedures (SOPs) for beverage operations. - Ensure effective
opening, closing, and shift management procedures. - Develop annual
beverage budgets and revenue forecasts. - Monitor beverage
revenue and profitability against targets. - Control beverage cost through
effective purchasing, inventory management, and waste
reduction. - Analyze sales trends and implement revenue-enhancing
initiatives. - Manage labor costs and staffing productivity within budget
guidelines. - Create and update beverage menus, cocktail programs
and wine selections. - Source new product and maintain relationship
with suppliers and distributors. - Monitor beverage market trends
and introduce innovative concepts. - Ensure beverage offerings align
with guest preferences and business objectives. - Conduct regular
inventory counts and stock audits. - Monitor stock levels and ensure
efficient ordering procedures. - Minimize losses due to breakage,
spoilage, theft, and over-pouring. - Ensure beverage costing is accurate
and maintained. - Review purchasing practices to maximize profitability
and quality. - Recruit, train, coach, and mentor beverage team
members. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive
feedback. - Develop succession plans for key positions.
- Promote
teamwork, employee engagement, and a positive working
environment. - Lead daily briefings and departments
meetings. - Maintain high standards of customer service and guest
satisfaction. - Resolve guest complaints professionally
and promptly. - Build strong relationships with VIP guests and key
clients. - Drive initiatives to improve guest satisfaction
scores. - Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and alcohol
regulations. - Enforce responsible beverage service
standards. - Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
requirements. - Ensure all staff comply with health, safety, fire
and emergency procedures. - Support and maintain the Food Safety
Management System (FSMS). - Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop
beverage promotions and events. - Plan and execute wine dinners,
cocktail events, happy hours, and seasonal campaigns. - Work closely
with Banquet and Events teams to maximize beverage sales
opportunities. - Support revenue-generating initiatives all
outlets.
