Job Description

Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking an In‑Room Dining
Supervisor to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury
hotel opening later this year.

 

This is a unique opportunity
for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help
shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

 

Located
at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London –
Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft
of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants -
Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two
of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy
a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection
of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320
guests.

          Here's what you'll do during a typical
          day:


           As In‑Room Dining Supervisor, you will oversee
          the daily operation of the room service department, ensuring seamless service
          delivery, elevated presentation, and operational excellence. You will lead
          the team on service standards, support performance development, optimise revenue
          opportunities, and maintain strict cost control within an ultra‑luxury
          environment.

          You will perform the following duties to the highest luxury
          hospitality standards:

          • Provide confident, hands‑on leadership to the In‑Room Dining team,
            ensuring service excellence and the achievement of departmental and individual
            performance goals.
          • Ensure full compliance with brand standards, service
            rituals, and quality benchmarks.
          • Monitor guest satisfaction levels,
            proactively identifying opportunities for continuous
            improvement.
          • Maintain awareness of culinary and service trends,
            contributing innovative ideas to enhance in‑room dining offerings
            and presentation.
          • Drive revenue optimisation while maintaining
            disciplined cost control, identifying risks and corrective actions where
            necessary.
          • Support the setting and achievement of realistic short‑
            and long‑term operational goals aligned with departmental
            budgets.
          • Collaborate closely with the Training & Development team
            to ensure structured, ongoing training through agreed training
            calendars.
          • Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring full
            compliance with hotel and company policies
            and procedures.

           

           

          What are
          we looking for?


          An In‑Room Dining Supervisor serving Hilton
          brands acts with professionalism, precision, and unwavering guest focus.
          To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

          • Previous experience in a similar supervisory
            or senior service role.
          • Effective team leadership and organisational
            skills.
          • Strong negotiation, influencing, and decision‑making
            abilities.
          • A positive, service‑driven attitude.
          • Excellent verbal
            and written communication skills.
          • The ability to perform calmly
            and effectively under pressure.
          • Impeccable grooming and presentation
            reflective of a luxury environment.

          It would be advantageous in
          this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities
          and distinctions:

          • Prior experience within the hospitality or luxury hotel
            sector. 
          • Exposure to payroll, budgeting, and forecasting
            processes. 
          • Strong commercial awareness and understanding
            of industry trends.
