Development Executive coordinates and manages the implementation of hotel
trainings in line with brand and hotel policies and procedures. This role
develops and maintains training resources, executes systems that promote growth
and development, ensuring that all promises to stake holders are delivered. He /
she assists the Director of Learning & Development in creating an effective
and efficient operation for the Learning & Development
department.

In addition, this role requires
the following minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years in HR,
    preferably in hospitality or service-oriented industries.
  • Degree
    or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
    field.
  • Familiarity with recruitment, employee relations, performance
    management, and labor laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication;
    able to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent time
    management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple
    tasks.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Approachable,
    empathetic, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Adherence to
    the highest professional ethics and standards, maintaining integrity
    and transparency.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

Ensure
training material, resources, and facilities are prepared and available
for each training session.

    vertical-align: baseline;">Conduct training sessions on various
    topics such as new team member orientation, guest service, hospitality
    standards, and job-specific skills.

    Utilize different
    training methods and techniques to engage participants
    and facilitate learning effectively.

    Monitor
    and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback,
    assessments, and performance reviews.

    Maintain accurate records of training activities,
    attendance, and employee progress for internal documentation and HRDC portal
    where necessary.

    vertical-align: baseline;">Assist in updating training materials, manuals,
    notice boards and online resources as needed.

    To be able
    to provide information on job roles, expectations, and career development
    opportunities within the organization.

    Monitor
    and assist all departmental trainers with their department - specific
    training where necessary.

    vertical-align: baseline;">Scheduling and coordination of training classes
    including maintenance of training calendar.

    Ensure compliance
    with regulatory requirements and hotel standards in training
    programs.

    baseline;">Participate and support in the coordination of Human Resources
    engagement and recognition programs as required.
