Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Steward
Supervisor to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new
luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique
opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding
team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark
hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham
Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms
and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two
signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud -
bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs.
Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities,
and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320
guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical
day:
As Steward Supervisor, you will oversee
the stewarding function, ensuring immaculate back‑of‑house environments
and seamless operational support for all food and beverage outlets. You
will lead by example, supporting and guiding the stewarding team while ensuring
health, hygiene, and safety standards are uncompromisingly upheld.
You
will carry out the following duties to the highest luxury hospitality
standards:
Supervise stewarding operations, ensuring consistently high
standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency.
Support
the training, guidance, and development of stewarding team
members.
Coordinate daily pot‑wash and dish‑wash operations
to meet service demands.
Ensure all back‑of‑house areas
are maintained to exacting cleanliness standards, with cleaning schedules fully
completed and documented.
Rigorously observe all health, hygiene,
and safety guidelines, including the safe handling of hazardous
substances.
Promptly report faulty, misused, or damaged equipment
to the appropriate departments, including Executive Kitchen
and Engineering.
Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) is available, worn, and adhered to at all times.
Confirm
that machinery is operated safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with
the hotel’s Health & Safety Manual.
Assist with the movement,
positioning, and safe storage of operational equipment.
Support
inventory control through equipment stock takes
as required.
Enforce full compliance with all hygiene,
sanitation, and safety regulations across the stewarding
team.
Undertake any additional reasonable duties as directed
by hotel leadership in support of operational
excellence.
