be doing?

style="font-family: "Hilton Sans", sans-serif;"> style="font-size: 12pt;">This position reports to the Sales
Director.

style="font-family: "Hilton Sans", sans-serif;"> style="font-size: 12pt;">As Assistant Sales Manager, you analyse local market
trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to
the highest standards:

style="line-height: normal;">Analyse local market trends
and competitor activity to identify new business leads style="line-height: normal;">Develop customer accounts and travel
within the local area to drive business into the hotel and to increase
market/customer share in Corporate transient and group
business
• style="font-family: "Hilton Sans", sans-serif;"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate
  clients
• style="font-family: "Hilton Sans", sans-serif;"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance
  with current business and pricing conditions

strategies and recognise potential opportunities style="line-height: normal;">Cooperate with other departments
in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong,
comprehensive sales programs
• style="font-size: 12pt;">Attend Sales events, as required
style="line-height: normal;">Produce accurate and timely reports
that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management, including
reporting appointments, calls made, and business leads style="line-height: normal;">Answer customer queries in a prompt
and professional manner
