As
the Night Manager, you will report directly to the Front Office Manager as
you lead the overnight Front Office operation, supporting team members, managing
guest arrivals and departures, completing night audit procedures, and responding
to guest concerns, operational matters or emergencies that may arise overnight.
You will be someone who is helpful, thoughtful and engaging in their approach,
and who takes genuine pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Manage and take full
responsibility for the hotel during the overnight hours
style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0cm;">Handle guest
requests, inquiries and complaints promptly
lang="EN-AU">Complete Night Audit duties
lang="EN-AU">Ensure all team members are prepared and well-informed to deliver
guests an exceptional experience from check-in through
check-outMaximise sales revenues through up-selling
and marketing programs within the department
lang="EN-AU">Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding credit
cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0cm;">Handle any
management issues or emergencies that arise, record and resolve
as necessaryMonitor guest satisfaction
reports and implement actions to improve results
lang="EN-AU">Upholding and maintaining Hilton brand
standards
lang="EN-AU">What are we looking for?

A minimum of 1 year
experience in a leadership front office role in a similar sized
hotelFluent in the English language in order
to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both in person
and over the telephoneExcellent leadership,
inter-personal and training and development skills
lang="EN-AU">A passion for delivering exceptional guest
experiencesDemonstrated ability to resolve
problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
lang="EN-AU">Well-presented, organised and have a calm
personalityHigh
level of IT skills, including Excel and Word
