opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada, The Clayfield will deliver
a highly personalized, refined guest experience grounded in calm luxury,
craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.
The Front Office Supervisor
plays an important role in delivering seamless and personalized guest
experiences while supporting the daily operations of the Front Office
department. This role provides hands-on leadership within the Front Desk
and lobby areas, ensuring service standards, operational efficiency, and guest
satisfaction are consistently maintained.
Working closely with the Front
Office leadership team, the Front Office Supervisor helps guide daily operations
while supporting and mentoring Front Office colleagues in a luxury hospitality
environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the daily
operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, and lobby experience - Lead
by example in delivering warm, professional, and personalized guest service
- Assist with supervising Front Office colleagues during shifts to ensure
service and operational standards are maintained - Support guest check-in
and check-out processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency - Handle
guest concerns, service recovery situations, and special requests professionally
and promptly - Assist with room assignments, VIP arrivals, guest
preferences, and daily operational planning - Monitor lobby activity
and maintain a visible presence to support guests and team members
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa, and other hotel
departments to ensure smooth operations - Support training, coaching,
and onboarding of Front Office colleagues as required - Assist with cash
handling, billing accuracy, balancing procedures, and operational reporting
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Support Manager on Duty responsibilities and operational coverage
as assigned
What You'll Bring
- A
passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Previous Front Office or guest service experience within a hotel environment
is considered an asset - Supervisory or leadership experience
in hospitality is considered an asset - Professional, polished,
and guest-focused communication skills - Strong organizational,
multitasking, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to remain calm
and service-focused in a fast-paced environment - Strong interpersonal
skills with the ability to support and motivate team members - Experience
with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications is
an asset - Flexible availability including mornings, evenings,
overnights, weekends, and holidays as required - Ability to maintain
elevated luxury hospitality standards consistently
