You’ll make sure our
rooms and hotel public spaces are always at their best ensuring brand standards
are delivered. It’s down to you to make that room special and memorable
for guests.
Ensure every room meets the cleanliness standards of IHG’s Clean
Promise
Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush
or directions for example
Be safety aware
by always following our established safety procedures such as manual handling
and wearing protective equipment when needed
Be organised - keep
on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimise
waste
Reunite items with owners and report/log any lost and found
property
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per
hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
Regularly assist
with deep cleaning projects and other ad hoc tasks
What we need from You
It’s
a physical role and you’ll be on your feet during your shift, so fitness
is important
Strength – you’ll need to push housekeeping and equipment trolleys
on a daily basis Occasionally you may be required to push and lift furniture
items with safe manual handling using of trolleys and maneuvering
equipment
You’ll need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
Literacy skills -
reading, writing and basic math's skills
Excellent
communication verbal and written
