About
the role

We're looking for a Senior Manager Brand Safety to join
our Hotel Lifecycle & Growth team in Germany for an 18 month fixed term
contract.  

This role will play a key part in the integration
of Hotel Portfolio’s into IHG's brands. Working across IHG and various portfolio
stakeholders, you'll coordinate and track the delivery of brand safety &
local code requirements identified during the pre-deal due diligence process,
helping ensure hotels are integrated safely, efficiently and within agreed
timelines.

This is a highly visible role where you'll combine your general
engineering understanding / experience and your specific fire safety
competencies / expertise, stakeholder management and project leadership to help
deliver safe and secure hotels for guests and colleagues while supporting
successful owner outcomes.

Your day to day

You’ll
play a key role in delivering safe, compliant hotels ready to open on schedule
as IHG-branded properties.

In this role, you will ensure IHG brand
standards and local regulatory requirements are assessed, documented,
and aligned to project timelines.

  • Leading the process with IHG
    and the assigned project team to resolve identified brand safety & local
    code shortfalls.  
  • Tracking progress, maintaining auditable records
    and ensuring clear visibility of completion status.  
  • Working
    directly with IHG and the local hotel teams and stakeholders to agree practical
    solutions for complex properties.  
  • Conducting regular site visits
    to support implementation, provide and issue resolution required and report
    on the progress of works.  
  • Act as a central point
    of communication, coordination and reporting for all project stakeholders across
    the duration of the signing to opening program.  
  • Remain engaged
    post opening to ensure any unfinished activities are addressed and to support
    the Hotel Operator in the first few months

 

What
we need from you

We're looking for someone with strong technical
expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to build
relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.

You'll
bring:

  • A wide experience and knowledge of Mechanical,
    Electrical & Fire Safety systems.  
  • Experience in the design,
    implementation, commissioning, certification and handover of MEP & Fire
    Safety systems.  
  • A recognised qualification in fire safety
    engineering or a related discipline.  
  • Knowledge of German fire
    safety regulations.  
  • Familiarity with international fire safety
    codes and risk-based fire safety assessments.  
  • Fluent
    business-level German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong
    organisation, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
