Deliver room service food and beverage orders to guest
rooms, replenish and count mini bar inventory; also assist in the maintenance
of room service area and equipment.Duties
and Responsibilities
style="font-size: 10pt;">Complete guest payment transactions as outlined in cash
and charge procedures. Document legibly the guest’s order
information on guest checks.

service phones and record orders; utilize up-selling techniques to increase
sales. Promote teamwork and quality service
through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Coordinate VIP amenity deliveries with appropriate
departments.

style="text-align: justify;">Alert Management of any service and/or safety issues.
style="font-size: 10pt;"> Make appropriate service recovery gestures according
to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest
satisfaction. -
style="text-align: justify;">Delivers and serves
food and beverages to hotel guest’s room; set up and serve the order in
the guest’s room according to specifications and standards.

style="font-size: 10pt;">Describe all menu items; methods of preparation
and prices as needed. Work within policy to accommodate
guest’s special food requests.

style="font-size: 10pt;">Delivery and retrieval of room service
trays.
Prepare room service trays according
to company specifications.

style="text-align: justify;">Re-stocking of mini bar throughout the shift and make sure that all HOT
SOS requests are being taken care of in a timely
manner. -
style="text-align: justify;">Performs set-up
and closing side-work; stock service station, make coffee, etc.
Preset trays as necessary; prepare flatware “roll-ups”.

style="text-align: justify;">Prep work for amenities, cutting cheese, bread and other necessary
products -
style="text-align: justify;">Deliver and retrieve amenities, pick up trays from landing and guest
floors -
style="text-align: justify;">Polishing glassware
class="ortl-align-justify">Making / refilling coffee and ice tea
throughout the day

style="text-align: justify;">Utilizing tablets to complete assignments of re-stocking minibars
and ambient cubes in every room

style="font-size: 10pt;">Retrieve trays from guest rooms and hallways within
prescribed time period.

Basic reading,
writing and math skills and food service experience with general knowledge
of restaurant operations
