lang="EN-GB">Duties and Responsibilities

style="font-size: 10pt;">Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms and assists
guests with luggage. - Inspects
guest's room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies
are adequate. -
style="color: black;">Explains features of room
such as operation of radio, television, telephone, in-room movie system,
etc. - Offers information pertaining
to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest
and entertainment attractions.

style="font-size: 10pt;">Delivering clean laundry, guest mail/messages,
or sundry items to guest rooms, and responding to other special
requests.

style="color: black;">Delivers messages and runs
errands. -
style="color: black;">Maintains the front
porte-cochere by picking up trash - Other duties
as assigned. -
style="text-align: justify;">Respond
appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems,
complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests.

style="font-size: 10pt;">Promptly and safely transport luggage to and from guest
rooms. May secure, tag and store luggage at guest’s request.

style="font-size: 10pt;">May regularly inspect and clear hotel entrance
and surrounding areas of litter and debris.

style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform other duties as assigned which may include
but is not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick up
by dry cleaning company.
style="font-size: 10pt;">Salary: $21.25

Qualifications &
Requirements:High School diploma
or equivalent, plus some guest service experience or hotel experience
preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages
preferred.
This job requires ability
to perform the following:
Carrying, pushing,
or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds.
style="font-size: 10pt;">Moving about the public
areas.
Handling objects
such as luggage.
Bending,
standing, stooping, kneeling.
Other:
style="vertical-align: baseline;">Communication
skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients,
guests and employees.
style="font-size: 10pt;">Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when
completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs,
etc..

holidays.
