Conference and Events Supervisor (Part-Time)

the lookout for a dynamic Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to join
the excitement and become part of the IHG Hotels and Resorts

279 elegantly designed rooms with stunning skyline views. Enjoy upscale
amenities, including sky bar Cloud 23, 2 Rosette Podium Restaurant, an indoor
pool, and a fitness centre. Perfect for both business and leisure travellers,
with 14 meeting rooms and over 1,800 square feet of event space. Experience our

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel will fully transition to the InterContinental
brand by 2027, enhancing your stay with our signature luxury

We are looking for someone
who can work 24-hours per week, across a variety of shifts so being flexible
with shifts is essential! 

As our C&B Operations
Supervisor you serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working
alongside the events team to perform technical or functional job duties. You
are able to encourage and motivate the team to perform their best and you take
responsibility for tasks you are assigned and can make the right decision
and provide input on possible improvements. Communications skills are key as
you will need to collaborate with other departments to ensure the events run
efficiently

To succeed as our C&B Supervisor,
you will:

•    Develop and maintain positive
and productive working relationships with other 
employees
and departments. 
•    Partner with and assist
others to promote an environment of teamwork
and achieve 
•    common
goals.
•    Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Senior
Waiter / Team Leader tole role within Banqueting/Meeting
and Events. 
•    Experience within a 5* hotel
or property of similar size
and complexity. 
•    Previous experience
with Delphi and Micros.
