To Day 

• Perform all
  routine preventative maintenance and curative
  maintenance

• Order
  and monitor fuels, lubricants and repair parts

  0cm;">Maintain clean and tidy plant
  rooms 

• Maintain
  a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle problems in all fields
  of the department

  serif;">Attend to all types of repair and maintenance work
  in the Hotel premises, including any new additions / extensions to the Hotel
  or any other properties maintained by
  the Hotel

  serif;">Repair and maintain guest room facilities, light
  facilities, furniture and equipment

• style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;"> style="color: windowtext; font-family: "Times New Roman",
  serif;">Assist with the implementation of the hotel’s
  preventative maintenance system and repair log
  system

• Conduct
  and/or participate in staff meeting regarding proper operating and maintenance
  practices of equipment

  serif;">Ensure that appropriate files are maintained
  and resources kept for future reference

  by supervisor/Assistant Chief Engineer/Chief Engineer/Director
  of Engineering

  serif;">Prioritize work in line with guest requests
  and management Use a maintenance programme to ensure the hotel is maintained
  and in service for our guests 

• style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;"> style="color: windowtext; font-family: "Times New Roman",
  serif;">Inform superior of the status of repairs and pending
  costs and indicate when it would be reasonable to consider
  replacement

• Record
  daily service work, including maintaining individual replacement costs along
  with time/task labour hours cost

• style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;"> style="color: windowtext; font-family: "Times New Roman",
  serif;">Participate in instructing colleagues on the proper
  operation, safety procedures and cleaning of all
  equipment

• Establish
  and maintain proper parts inventory levels

• class="Bullet1" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top:
  0cm;">Implement and carry out maintenance program
  in accordance with established timeframes

• class="Bullet1" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top:
  0cm;">Carry out and document regular inspections of plant
  and equipment in computerised system

• class="Bullet1" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top:
  0cm;">Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken
  for the day

• Efficient
  and effective use of recycling methods

  0cm;"> lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 10pt;">Ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when
  we have to pull together to get a task

From You

• Vocational
  Certificate or equivalent

• class="IHGSub-headingGreen13" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm;
  margin-top: 0cm;">1 year
  of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education
  and experience..

• style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;"> style="color: windowtext; font-family: "Times New Roman",
  serif;">Relevant trade skills

• class="Bullet1" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top:
  0cm;">Able to read and write in English/Bahasa
  Malaysia
