About the Role
Petit Crenn is scheduled
to open in October 2026 and will be centrally located in
the historic InterContinental Melbourne the Rialto.
As
the Restaurant Manager, you will be the face of the restaurant,
reporting directly to the Area General Manager of Restaurants and Bars and
work collaboratively with the Head Chef and other stakeholders to ensure
the successful launch and ongoing success of the operation.

Lead front-of-house operations and
the hospitality team in a career-enhancing role with a brand that values

Build strong relationships with guests,
locals, industry professionals and returning clientele to drive loyalty, gather
feedback and enhance the dining experience.
Manage reservations,
greet guests and assist with order taking.
Maintain impeccable
presentation, cleanliness and functionality of restaurant facilities in line
with health regulations.
Identify and maximise
opportunities to upsell products and experiences that meet guest
needs.
Ensure service standards, RSA requirements,
food safety regulations, workplace health and safety legislation, and company
policies are consistently met.
Report, document
and investigate incidents and injuries, implementing corrective actions where
required.
Assist to develop, and then monitor
restaurant budgets, targets and costs, ensuring stock, labour and operational
expenses are managed within budget while maintaining adequate staffing
levels.
Reconcile card and cash transactions,
including float preparation and balancing takings.
Recruit, train, coach and supervise
team members who align with company values and role
requirements.
Lead, motivate and develop the team through
ongoing training, feedback and performance management to uphold service
and quality standards.
Ensure team members
maintain professional standards of uniform, grooming and personal
hygiene.
Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging
workplace where team members feel empowered and supported.
Perform other duties as per
the job description and as directed by Management
What We Need from You
You must hold a valid
and unrestricted work visa to work in Australia
A minimum of 2-4 years
related leadership experience in a similar restaurant management
role.
Fine dining /high end dining experience
is preferrable;
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third
parties that reflects highly on the brand.
