As a Human Resources
Coordinator,
style="font-size: 12pt;">you will work closely with the Director of Human
Resources and Human Resources Officer to ensure we provide a positive colleague
experience from recruitment, onboarding, training, development, engagement
activities and off-boarding.

 

lang="EN-NZ">A little taste of your
day-to-day

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment,
    onboarding and offboarding processes for our hotel colleagues, ensuring
    a seamless experience in partnership with Human Resources Officer.
  • Be
    a central point of contact for all colleagues and respond to queries in a timely
    manner.
  • Support learning & development initiatives, including
    onboarding sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Assist in drafting
    and updating HR policies, procedures, contracts,
    and communications.
  • Support HR team and Chief Engineer on OH&S
    compliance and support HR Officer with Work Cover claims and Return to Work
    processes.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to promote
    a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Hospitality
    Industry General Award and any other applicable awards and employment
    legislation.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting
    deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all
    work.
  • Proven ability to flex and adapt to varying situations and problem
    solve. 
  • Ability to guide, confidentially influence and build
    professional rapport with department managers, leaders
    and colleagues.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Human Resources
    generalist capacity 
  • Previous HR/Payroll experience within Hotel
    Industry or within Tourism and Hospitality is preferred.
