Your day
to day

As part of our Front Office team, you will play
an important role in creating a seamless and memorable arrival and departure
experience for our guests. As a Porter, you will be one of the first and last
points of contact in a guest’s journey, delivering warm, personalised service
while ensuring their stay begins and ends on the highest note.

The
day-to-day role includes assisting guests with luggage, valet parking,
directions, and general enquiries, while maintaining a professional
and welcoming presence in the hotel lobby and driveway. You will escort guests
to their rooms, provide room orientations, assist with transport arrangements,
and ensure all guest luggage is handled safely and efficiently.

You will also work closely with the Concierge and wider Front Office team
to support guest requests, maintain the presentation of guest arrival areas,
and provide local knowledge and recommendations that enhance the guest
experience.

What we need from you

• A passion
  for delivering warm, welcoming service and creating memorable guest
  experiences
• Previous experience in a guest service, porter, concierge,
  or hotel front office role is preferred
• Excellent communication
  and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach
• A
  proactive attitude and the ability to anticipate guest needs
• Strong
  organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy
  environment
• Physical ability to lift, push and pull luggage, stand
  for long periods, and work actively throughout a shift
• A valid driver’s
  licence and confidence valet parking guest vehicles
• Strong local
  knowledge of Melbourne or a willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work
  a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
• You
  must meet the legal requirements to live and work
  in Australia
