Duties and Responsibilities
Financial
Returns
● Develop
and implement strategies to maximize spa and leisure revenue, profitability,
and productivity.
● Monitor
and control departmental expenses, labor costs, inventory, and operating
supplies within approved
budgets.
● Analyze business
performance and implement promotional activities to increase utilization of spa
and recreational
facilities.
● Drive retail
sales and treatment revenues through effective upselling and guest
engagement.
People
● Recruit,
train, develop, and motivate Spa and Leisure team members to achieve service
excellence.
● Conduct
performance reviews, coaching, and development plans to enhance employee
performance and career
growth.
● Ensure adequate
staffing levels and efficient scheduling to meet business
demands.
● Promote a positive
working environment and foster teamwork across departments.
Guest
Experience
● Deliver memorable
wellness and leisure experiences that exceed guest
expectations.
● Ensure all
guests receive professional, personalized, and attentive
service.
● Monitor guest
feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve satisfaction
scores.
● Develop wellness
programs, recreational activities, and guest engagement initiatives that enhance
the resort
experience.
● Maintain high
standards of cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance throughout all spa
and leisure facilities.
Responsible
Business
● Ensure compliance
with hotel policies, brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local
legislation.
● Maintain all
spa and leisure equipment, facilities, and operating procedures in safe
and excellent
condition.
● Ensure proper
hygiene, sanitation, and risk management practices are consistently
followed.
● Support
sustainability initiatives and community engagement activities where
applicable.
● Prepare
departmental reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management
review.
Other
Responsibilities
● Coordinate
with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and other departments to promote spa
and leisure services.
● Manage
vendor relationships and ensure quality standards for products
and services.
● Stay informed
of wellness, fitness, and hospitality industry trends and recommend innovative
initiatives.
● Perform other
duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
and Requirements
● Bachelor’s
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sports &
Recreation Management, Wellness Management, or a related
field.
● Minimum 3–5 years
of experience in Spa, Wellness, Recreation, or Resort Operations, including
at least 2 years in a supervisory or management
role.
● Strong leadership,
communication, and interpersonal
skills.
● Knowledge of spa
operations, wellness programs, fitness facilities, and recreational
activities.
● Experience
in luxury hospitality or resort environments
preferred.
● Strong business
acumen with the ability to manage budgets, revenue, and operational
performance.
● Knowledge
of health, safety, hygiene, and risk management
practices.
● Proficient
in Microsoft Office and hospitality management
systems.
● Excellent command
of English; additional languages are
an advantage.
● Ability
to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
