to Day –
This is the top
supervisory job in the housekeeping department. Typically supervises small
number of housekeeping and laundry employees in a small limited-service
or extended stay single-site hotel with a limited range
of facilities.
Assist the Operations Manager in the supervision of
the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure product quality standards
are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests according to hotel
and company business objectives.
Assist with scheduling and room cleaning assignments to ensure proper
coverage.

0in;">Perform housekeeping duties necessary, including making
beds as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest
satisfaction.
Assist
with training employees and ensuring that they have the tools and equipment
needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties. Monitor
performance and make recommendations for disciplinary and other human
resources-related actions.

and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens,
and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct them in corrective action.
Provide adequate training as needed.
style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Respond to guest complaints, special
requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest
satisfaction.
Notify
management when par levels for supplies and equipment
are insufficient
Promote
teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination
with other departments. Key departmental contacts include Front Office
and Maintenance.
May
maintain procedures for security of lost and found
items.
May assist
with other duties as assigned.

from You –
High School
Diploma or equivalent plus 1year housekeeping experience including some
supervisory training/experience. Must speak fluent
English.
In the hotel industry we cater for our guest needs 24 hours a day,
7 days a week.
Even though a shift will be assigned, in occasions we may require
working varying shifts across a 7-day period, including weekends, evenings,
and public holidays.
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and
or pulling approximately 200 pounds

handling objects and equipment to maintain

Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling

The hourly pay range for this role is $20.00
