the direct supervision of the Accountant, and within the limits
of InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures, responsible
for processing of supplier invoices, reconciling of suppliers’ statement
of account plus recording and processing payment of goods
and services. 

A little taste of your
day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly
be:

  • class="ICBullet"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Process and verify supplier invoices against purchase
    orders and goods received notes.

  • class="ICBullet"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliance with VAT/, withholding tax,
    and statutory requirements applicable to hotel
    operations.

  • style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Monitor
    food, beverage, operating supplies costs, review purchase records, pricing,
    and departmental cost allocations.

  • class="ICBullet"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in monthly stock takes and investigate
    shortages, overages and wastage.

  • class="ICBullet"> style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in maintaining accurate recipe costing, standard
    costs, and menu pricing support.

 

What
We need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    or finance.
  • Fluency in both Nepalese and English
    is essential for effective communication with a diverse range
    of guests.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience
    in Accounts Payable and/or Cost Control in a hotel
    environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel cost control systems
    and AP processes.
  • Proficient in MS Excel
    and reporting.
