Engineering Technician - Plumbing | InterContinental Pokhara Resort

You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing
systems within resort. Ensuring that all water, drainage, and heating systems
are in optimal working condition to provide a comfortable experience
for guests.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Maintains
  and repairs plumbing systems, opening and cleaning clogged drain pipes
  and traps, installing and replacing plumbing fixtures, repairing and or replace
  broken plumbing items, municipal water distribution, sewer systems, plumbing
  fixtures, Tanks, and water filtration and softeners
• Perform
  maintenance, repair, replacement or new installation of water based firefighting
  system and components
• Operates specialized equipment and tools
  including pipe threaders, pipe grove machine, pipe cutting machines, and cutting
  torches
• Inspects joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks,
  commodes, tanks, and other plumbing system components to locate
  malfunctions
• Work with commercial-type equipment such as kitchen
  and laundry plumbing

What We need from you:

• Some
  college or advanced vocational training
• Two years’ experience
  in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination
  of education and experience
• Hotel experience preferred
