InterContinental Malta is looking to recruit
a Night Auditor to join our team in Malta. The
selected applicant will be responsible to ensure that the hotel is providing
the highest possible standards in customer care excellence and respond to our
guests with professionalism, and goodwill throughout their stay. Duties
will mainly be carried out through the night; however the candidate must
be flexible to work both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities: - Greets
guests upon arrival ensuring they feel expected and welcome.
- To assist with the allocation of bedrooms and special request
bookings. - Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel
and local services and supplies to be able to respond to guest queries including
handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees
or departments accordingly. - Maintains awareness if sales
opportunities, maximizing revenue, meeting, and exceeding guest
expectations. - Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling
wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest
preference. - Managing and updating all official
documentation pertaining to the role. - Record any
maintenance issues that are reported to Reception and take the necessary action
to communicate these to Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to ensure the minimum
impact on guests. - Prepping and serving bar & food
orders and help preparing breakfasts for clients when necessary.
- Switching on kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring
that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees
in all departments. - Process accounts from check-in through
check-out, ensuring accurate posting of food and beverage charges.
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service and Interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures.
- Attention to detail and organizational skill.
- Ability to solve problems and diffuse tense
situation. - Time management and multitasking
skills. - Previous Reception and or front office experience
would be considered an asset. - Basic food & beverage
knowledge. - Ability to perform computer-based tasks such
as data entry, accounting, word pro-cessing, invoicing, and billing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
