Duties &
Responsibilities
Works with Executive
Housekeeper in the preparation and management of the Department’s operating
budget
Supervise the implementation
of housekeeping standards and procedures in relation to, Bedroom service ,
Bathroom service, Cleaning service, Linen maintenance and Public Area
Cleanliness
Recommended changes to
these standards and training needs on an ongoing basis
Maintain a current and thorough
knowledge of all housekeeping systems
Perform
Room allocations
Perform Room inspections
style="margin-left:0px;">Prioritise arrival rooms style="margin-left:0px;">Perform routine inspections of all public areas’Liaise with Front Office for guest
and hotel requirements
Liaise and follow-up
with Engineering on guest room and public area defects
Co-ordinate special projects
(example site rooms, vermin control, window and carpet cleaning, room
inventories)
Anticipate guests’ needs
and deliver True Responsiveness
Management
of lost property for the hotel
Ensure you
have complete knowledge of room types, layouts and facilities
Conducts shift briefings
to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
Solve employee
grievances
style="margin-left:0px;">Qualification & Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or equivalent plus 3
years’ housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel of similar size
and complexity and including supervisory experience or training.
