Due to an internal promotion, we are inviting applications for
the opportunity to join the world’s most international luxury hotel brand
as Director of Rooms InterContinental Sydney.

The
Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will manage
and lead the overall operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Office,
Concierge, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Executive Lounge.

Leading
from the front across a Rooms Division team of 70 colleagues including heads
of department, you will create a team who are highly customer focused delivering
exceptional guest service, whilst proactively driving and maximising revenue
and upselling programs. 

An exceptional communicator, developing
an environment of collaboration and shared purpose you will foster our culture
of “Inspiring Incredible” through teamwork, accountability and exceptional
performance within a Luxury environment.

Driving Rooms Division hotel
metrics is a key focus of this role, ensuring a balanced approach to sustainable
success; developing and implementing strategies to optimise operational
efficiencies; achieving productivity goals and exceeding guest experience
targets.

This is a busy, hands on and varied role that will allow you
to further stretch your leadership, commercial acumen, organisational
skills and exceptional guest deliverables within a high performing
environment.

Hotel Manager and General Manager pipeline and future growth within wider IHG

What we need
from You

Essential for this role, you must
have 2+ years of experience leading a full Rooms Division department within
a complex, high volume luxury environment

Your background will include
experience in the Luxury hotel market either locally
or internationally 

Proven track record of delivering rooms division
operational effectiveness, profitability and exceptional guest
experiences 

You will have proven experience working with
and achieving brand standards at luxury or similar level

Ability to create
and grow a high performing team across rooms division multiple
departments 

Bachelor Degree in Hospitality or Tourism or relevant
discipline

Full and unrestricted Australian working
rights
