What’s
is the job?

To provide a fact-based analysis and administrative
support for Sales and Revenue Management as a fundamental of revenue decision
making process. 

To support e-commerce in pricing and inventory
distribution, maintain rate parity and ensure no BPG violations on the rate
distribution. 

To provide a detail and thorough competitors
intelligence data as base for assessing Resort positioning against
the competitors in terms of visibility, electronic merchandising and promotional
pricing. It is a vital role for the e-commerce and revenue management
in providing current, accurate information of the external climate with
which the hotel operates.

 

Your day
to day 

  • Support on daily/weekly and monthly report
    required by Revenue
  • Gather data & fact and transform a fact-based
    analysis into a meaningful information to support revenue decision making
    process
  • Assist with compilation of annual budgets, business plan
    and regular action plans
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge
    and understanding of hotel systems – Opera, Holidex, Delphi, perform to ensure
    appropriate capture of data for client information, events, forecasts
    and results.
  • Using the tools provided (i.e.

    IBP, SBRP) and in compliance with the IHG standards, maintains, updates
    and shares information in all areas includes calendar of external events,
    competitor rate intelligence, STR result, account management insight, regret
    and denial reports, system contribution and trends in rooms revenues by channel
    and segment.
  • Attends the Revenue Room Meeting (which the GM chairs)
    and generates reports and analyses needed for the meetings, displaying key
    facts/trends etc., on the revenue room walls.
  • Prepare and complete
    regular and ad hoc reports and take on special projects when required especially
    relating to competitor information and market 
  • Assist with monthly
    forecast submissions
  • Execute daily forecast for F&B revenue
    and conduct F&B Revenue meeting to communicate the latest trend, raise
    the alert for any negative trend found and ensure F&B are performing
    on track to meet forecast.
  • Facilitating F&B Department to have
    a deep analysis of the F&B customer and the trend.
  • Assists sales
    team in providing data and analysis
  • Attend to telephone, fax, email
    enquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with the planning and development
    of promotional strategies and marketing plans for the hotel
  • Work
    with other IHG properties and assist superiors including regional sales
    personnel to sell their properties

 

What’s
the qualification?

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in
    a five stars/luxury hotels and resorts.
  • Minimum 2 years multi-property
    Reservation Manager experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality
    management or related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
    proficiency.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Advanced PMS
    Opera skills. 
  • Team player  
  • Proficient
    in statistical and competitive analysis.
  • High-energy individual with
    a positive attitude.
  • Understanding of hotel operations and alignment
    with their needs through the revenue department.
  • Knowledgeable
    in hospitality industry operations and revenue management.
