an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Reservations Agent who can make
transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate
every request to make our guests feel right
at home.
Bringing the Hotel Indigo brand to
the iconic location of Shibuya is exactly what our curious well-travelled
explorers have been waiting for. Right around the corner from the famous Shibuya
crossing and nestled deep in the heart of the major fashion, retail
and nightlife of Tokyo we look forward to connecting our guests with our deep,
rich neighbourhood story.
Your day to day
A key role in our
Reservations Team focused on ensuring our guests begin to experience the our
Shibuya neighbourhood and its stories, even before they arrive at the hotel.
You’ll liaise directly with our guests via phone and email knowing efficiency,
accuracy and personalised interactions are key to success in this role. On
the daily, you’ll;
- Handle room reservations via phone, fax,
and email - Manage inquiries related to reservation changes such
as extensions or reductions, as well as investigate and record “No Show”
reservations - Prepare and generate various reports using the hotel
reservation system Opera - Perform other duties
as assigned
What We need from you:
- Must
possess a valid visa to work in Japan - Japanese: Business level
or above - English: Business level in both written and spoken
communication (more than half of email correspondence is conducted
in English) - Previous experience in the hotel industry (any position
welcome) - Experience using Opera system
