Job Description

POSITION
SUMMARY

The Market Sales Support & Field
Marketing reporting Analyst will be tasked with supporting CALA Consumer Ops.
Analytics organization, focusing on creating & updating reports, data
extraction & modeling and providing data-driven analyses to CALA Sales &
Distribution Shared Services Centers and CALA Field Marketing organization.
The position will report to the Director Data Strategy for CALA and works
collaboratively with CALA Sales & Distribution SSC stakeholders to ensure
successful delivery and support of reporting tools, processes, and related
projects.

The Analyst will ensure that stakeholders
can track performance outcomes by designing, enhancing, and automating reports
and dashboards. The role will also assist evaluating the effectiveness of
the Sales & Distribution SSC efforts by working with the Director Data
Strategy, the Senior Director, Sales and Distribution and the Sales Cluster
leadership in establishing measurement standards.


This role requires strong analytical and data experience, individual
initiative, detail orientation, and a solid foundation in working with large
datasets across multiple tools.

CANDIDATE
PROFILE

KEY TALENTS
AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong reporting
    skills, including querying and manipulation of large quantities of data using
    applications such as Snowflake, SQL, R and/or Python programming, etc.
  • Demonstrate analytical ability with knowledge
    of statistical analysis techniques. Synthesize and analyze large volumes
    of complex information from multiple sources in a programmatic
    manner.
  • High-level proficiency with Excel (Formulas,
    VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.).
  • Able to extract
    insights from data and communicate findings to non-technical
    audiences
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    (English Required)
  • Keeps up-to-date technically
    and applies new knowledge to job.
  • Experience
    with visualization (BI) tools preferred, such as: Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik View,
    ShinyApps, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (finance,
    economics, Market research, etc.) or exact science mathematical related
    (mathematics, statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, etc.).

    Business Intelligence, big data or data visualization certification is
    a plus.
  • Applied experience in Programming or BI/Analytics
    teams is a plus.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Provides accurate and timely reports and dashboards
    to stakeholders.
  • Monitors Performance to identify causal
    factors of successful and unsuccessful performance, recommend strategies
    to improve, and evaluate likely impact of new strategies

  • Provides data support, investigating and responding to business
    questions and ad-hoc requests.
  • Designs and implement
    data-products that meet business and technical requirements and achieve great
    business performance.
  • Completes special projects
    as assigned which allow the SSC teams to support their stakeholders to be more
    effective and meet goals
  • Collaborate with cross functional
    teams and stakeholders to resolve data quality issues to ensure timely delivery
    and quality of data-product.
  • Support data collection
    for specific business requests ensuring accurate and complete requirements
    and thorough quality assurance to ensure data is validated prior
    to distribution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional
    partners to develop new reports and solutions.
  • Identifies
    process improvements for standard data delivery.
  • Hands-on
    engineer to problem-solve and address technical challenges.

  • Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders and other team members
    on using, manipulating, or interpreting data and reports.

  • Responds to time-sensitive and confidential data requests with a quick
    turnaround
