Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Assistant Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting
operations by ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and maintenance
of financial transactions and records. The role contributes to the integrity
of financial data and supports compliance with company policies, accounting
standards, and regulatory requirements.

Essential
Functions
  • Support the day-to-day Tax operations, including
    maintaining proper records and reconciliation files in accordance
    with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
  • Process
    and post supplier invoices, credit notes, and other accounting documents
    in ERP
  • Perform supplier account reconciliations
    and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Perform bank
    reconciliations
  • Book accruals and pre-paid expenses
    and contribute to monthly closing
  • Coordinate and maintain
    accurate accounting data within ERP systems, ensuring compliance with myDATA
    requirements.
  • Manage myDATA processes, including data
    transmission, transaction classification, reconciliations, and follow-up
    on discrepancies.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial
    and proprietary information.
  • Safeguard company assets
    and protect the privacy and security of guests and employees.

  • Communicate effectively through phone, email, and written
    correspondence using appropriate business etiquette.

  • Prepare and review business documents with a high degree of accuracy
    and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain positive
    working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental
    and organizational goals.
  • Follow all company policies,
    procedures, and professional standards.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,
    or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting,
    finance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting,
    and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    and financial/accounting systems.
  • Strong numerical,
    analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent
    attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage
    multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be proficient in local language and have solid English.
