the Chief Engineer, you will lead all engineering and maintenance operations
to ensure an exceptional guest and associate experience while maximizing
efficiency and asset longevity.
Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do
- Oversee
all engineering operations, including building maintenance, mechanical systems,
and energy management. - Lead a team of maintenance professionals,
ensuring proper training, scheduling, and performance
management. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
to optimize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime. - Ensure
compliance with safety regulations, brand standards, and White Lodging
policies. - Manage department budgets, cost controls, and capital
expenditure projects. - Respond to emergency maintenance issues
and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth
operations. - This position will report directly to the Director
of Engineering.
What You’ll
Bring
- Proven leadership experience
in engineering, facilities management, or maintenance, preferably
in hospitality. - Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, and mechanical systems. - Budget management and cost-control
experience. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with
the ability to train and lead a team. - Experience with preventive
maintenance programs and hotel operating systems. - Flexibility to work
various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
