Sheraton Grand and Hotel Goldener Hirsch, a Luxury Collection Hotel,
Salzburg

Set within the UNESCO-listed
splendour of Salzburg’s Old Town, the Sheraton Grand Salzburg and
the iconic Hotel Goldener Hirsch together define a rare duality
of contemporary sophistication and timeless heritage. The Sheraton Grand offers
elevated modern comfort overlooking the Mirabell Gardens, while the Goldener
Hirsch—one of The Luxury Collection’s most storied European hotels—captures
centuries of alpine tradition and cultural richness. This distinguished cluster
presents a unique commercial landscape, where global travellers, cultural
connoisseurs and luxury seekers converge in one of Europe’s most captivating
destinations.

About the Role

As Cluster Director of Sales,
you will lead the overall sales function for both properties, shaping strategy
and driving performance across a complex and high-value business mix.
With responsibility for both reactive and proactive sales activities, you
will ensure the achievement of revenue and booking objectives while
strengthening long-term, value-based client relationships.

This is
a pivotal leadership position, partnering closely with the General Managers,
Revenue Management, Marketing and global sales networks. You will influence
not only commercial outcomes, but also how each property is positioned in
the market—bringing Marriott’s service philosophy and brand strategies to life
through every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute
a cohesive cluster sales strategy, aligning with brand standards and revenue
    goals across both properties
  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve
booking targets, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance

  • Oversee proactive and reactive sales efforts, ensuring optimal conversion
across all channels and market segments
  • Drive business development
through strategic account management, market intelligence and innovative
    positioning strategies
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management
and Marketing Communications to optimise RevPAR, market share and campaign
    effectiveness
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including
ownership, regional teams and global sales offices
  • Ensure seamless
integration between sales and operations, maintaining exceptional service
    delivery throughout the customer journey
  • Manage the marketing budget
to support targeted campaigns, promotions and brand-aligned initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

You are an accomplished sales leader with a strong
track record in luxury or upper-upscale hospitality, bringing both strategic
vision and operational discipline.

Experienced in managing complex or multi-property environments, you understand
how to balance distinct brand identities while driving unified commercial
success.

Your leadership style is inspiring and performance-driven—you
develop talent, foster collaboration and create an environment where teams
thrive. With deep commercial acumen, you are skilled in interpreting market
trends, competitor intelligence and customer insights to inform decisive
action.

You are equally confident representing the business externally,
building lasting relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders,
and positioning these extraordinary properties on both a regional and global
stage.
