About the role
style="margin-left:0px">
Start your journey with the JW Marriott Gold Coast
Resort & Spa as a Demi Pastry Chef to help our passionate
kitchen team to create mouth-watering food for our guests. Reporting directly
to the Executive Chef, you will form a key part of a team who are responsible
for providing high quality product to our luxury guests.

Critical
responsibilities:
style="margin:0px; padding:0px">

style="margin-left:0px">Communicate any assistance needed during busy
periods to the Chef to ensure optimum services

style="margin-left:0px">Check and ensure the correctness of
the temperature of appliances and food

style="margin-left:0px">Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food
garnish to be served
style="margin:0px; padding:0px">

style="margin-left:0px">Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared
and the portions that are served
style="margin:0px; padding:0px">

style="margin-left:0px">Prepare ingredients for cooking, including
portioning, chopping, and storing

style="margin-left:0px">Wash and peel fresh fruits
and vegetables
style="margin:0px; padding:0px">

style="margin-left:0px">Preparation and baking of all in house cakes,
breads & pastries
