What you’ll be doing our newly appointed Demi Chef de
Partie
- Follow instruction and direction by supervisor
on section and ensure the food produced and served is of highest quality
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes, quality
standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist - Cook
food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner - Support
senior culinary team with daily operation tasks - Test foods to ensure
proper portion, food garnish and temperature - Operate kitchen equipment
safely and responsibly - Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness
of surfaces and storage containers

What we’re looking
for
- Teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Previous kitchen
experience is required - Able to demonstrate competent techniques
and cooking skills - Ability to work under pressure in a very busy
kitchen - Capable of assisting the maintenance of the hotels food quality
standards - Has a sound understanding of food safety standards
and HACCP
