About the Role

The Director
of Finance serves as the hotel’s strategic financial business leader
and a key member of the Executive Committee. This role is instrumental
in shaping the property’s commercial success, providing expert financial
leadership that enables the delivery of brand promises, guest satisfaction
and long-term value creation.

Beyond stewardship and governance,
the position is highly collaborative—partnering with the General Manager,
Executive Committee, owners and corporate stakeholders to align financial
strategy with operational excellence. The Director of Finance translates complex
data into insight, supports informed decision-making and ensures the hotel’s
financial performance supports both immediate priorities and sustainable
growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution and monitoring of the hotel’s annual
  business plan, operating budget and long-range financial forecasts.


• Champion strong accounting, audit and operational controls to safeguard
  assets, mitigate risk and ensure compliance with Marriott and ownership
  standards.
• Provide ongoing analytical support to operational leaders,
  identifying cost efficiencies, productivity opportunities and profit improvement
  initiatives.
• Oversee financial reporting, P&L integrity, balance
  sheet reconciliation, tax compliance and timely delivery of all statutory
  and management reports.
• Manage working capital and cash flow in line
  with brand governance and owner expectations.
• Act as a trusted adviser
  to the General Manager and Executive Committee on evolving commercial, financial
  and operational matters.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing
  finance team, fostering accountability, ethical leadership and continuous
  professional growth.

• Maintain effective, transparent relationships
  with ownership, lenders, auditors and corporate partners.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a seasoned
finance leader within hospitality or similar (not necessarily luxury), with
a proven ability to operate in complex, multi-department hotel environments.

You combine strong technical expertise with commercial curiosity and
a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset. Your leadership style is collaborative
and credible, enabling you to influence senior stakeholders while inspiring your
team. You are equally comfortable in detailed analysis and high-level strategic
discussion—and you understand that financial excellence ultimately exists
to support exceptional guest experiences and engaged associates.
