Jumeau River Development Company
Limited
. The franchisee is a separate
company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee
solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices,
including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all
other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at
this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott
International, Inc.

The Duty Manager is responsible to contact
guests during operational hours. The role involves supervising hotel operations,
handling guest concerns, ensuring service standards are maintained, supporting
department heads, and responding to emergencies or operational issues when
necessary.

plays a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction, operational efficiency,
and adherence to hotel policies and standards.
  • style="font-style:normal; font-weight:400"> Oversee the smooth operation of
    the hotel during assigned shifts.
  • style="font-style:normal; font-weight:400"> Ensure high standards of guest
    service and hospitality are consistently maintained.
  • style="font-style:normal; font-weight:400"> Handle guest complaints, concerns,
    and special requests professionally and efficiently.
  • style="font-style:normal; font-weight:400"> Conduct regular inspections
    of public areas, guest rooms, and operational departments to ensure cleanliness,
    safety, and service quality.
  • Coordinate with all departments including Front Office,
    Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Security.

  • Support and supervise
    associates on duty and provide operational guidance where required.

  • Monitor arrivals,
    departures, VIP guests, group movements, and special events.

  • Ensure compliance with hotel
    policies, procedures, health & safety, and brand standards.

  • Prepare daily operational
    reports and record incidents, complaints, and important occurrences.

  • Assist in emergency
    situations and ensure proper procedures are followed.

    to minimize disruption to guests and operations.

    coaching, and performance monitoring when required.

    Qualifications:
  • style="font-style:normal; font-weight:400"> Previous experience in hotel
    operations or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication
    and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
    and public holidays.
  • Good knowledge of hotel operations and customer service
    standards.

  • Computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management systems.

  • Ability to work under
    pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
