Job
Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety
and security strategies, policies, and procedures. - Lead physical
security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, security
staffing, and incident response. - Conduct risk assessments and implement
measures to mitigate operational, physical, and security risks. - Ensure
compliance with local, national, and international safety and security
regulations. - Develop and maintain emergency response, business
continuity, and crisis management plans. - Lead investigations into
accidents, incidents, security breaches, and workplace violence, ensuring
corrective actions are implemented. - Oversee fire safety programs,
emergency evacuation procedures, and life safety systems. - Manage
security technologies, including CCTV, intrusion detection systems, visitor
management, and access control systems. - Coordinate with law enforcement,
emergency services, regulatory agencies, and external security
providers. - Develop and manage departmental budgets, contracts,
and procurement of safety and security equipment and services. - Establish
key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on safety and security
performance to executive leadership. - Lead safety committees and conduct
regular audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. - Develop and deliver
safety and security training programs for employees
and contractors. - Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness
campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives. - Supervise, mentor,
and evaluate safety and security personnel.

Protection Professional (CPP) - Certified Safety Professional
(CSP) - Occupational Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH,
IOSH) - Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- First
Aid/CPR and Incident Command System (ICS) training

Information

Prior experience working
with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving
abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
