Development
Manager (m/f/d) - DACH

As Development Manager for Germany,
Austria and Switzerland, under the supervision of the Vice-President Development
DACH, you will directly contribute to the growth of the Accor brands through
networking, sourcing possible locations and negotiating leads. You will also
bring together operational, legal and technical services from the start
of projects to the final stage of signing the contracts until opening of
the hotel. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, negotiating,
executing deals and achieving projected goals for a number of development
projects (takeovers, new builds, conversions) in this region.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Identify,
    source and negotiate new sites, development projects and existing hotels across
    all contract types
  • Assess and ensure the economic viability of hotel
    projects
  • Drive both new development and rebranding opportunities through
    active networking with hotel owners, banks, real estate brokers, consultants,
    architects, engineers, government authorities and municipalities
  • Support
    partner relationship management and actively recruit new hotel partners to join
    the Accor network
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution
    of the regional development plan
  • Represent Accor and its brands at hotel
    conferences, trade fairs and business events, strengthening the group’s
    position as a preferred partner for development projects and franchise
    opportunities
  • Prepare presentation materials for the internal
    Development Committee's approval in close collaboration with Technical,
    Operations, Finance, Marketing and Legal teams
  • Monitor and gather
    information on potential hotel developments, market trends and competitor
    activity relevant to Accor’s brands

Your
Qualifications include:Â

  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional
    experience in hospitality development, for example as a hotel developer,
    consultant or within commercial real estate
  • Proven exposure to
    the European hospitality market, with evidence of a strong and continuously
    expanding network across the region to generate and source leads
  • Strong
    understanding of financial metrics relevant to development and investment
    decisions, including P&L review, ROCE, IRR, return on equity, finance
    and operating leases, and hotel valuations
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel
    development agreement structures, including management, franchise, lease
    and purchase contracts
  • Demonstrated strength in negotiation and deal
    execution
  • Proven ability to contribute to the strategic development of
    a brand
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Fluency in German
    and English is essential; additional languages, particularly French, would be
    an advantage
