Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage.

Working alongside
our Director of Culinary you will be responsible
for coordinating and managing the day-to-day F&B operations working across
the hotel, conferencing and our iconic venue Pumphouse. You will lead
by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing guest feedback
professionally, resolving concerns promptly and identifying opportunities
to continuously enhance service delivery.

What you will
be doing:

  • Support the daily operation of all Food & Beverage
    operations through the hotel and Pumphouse.
  • Assist with controlling
    departmental costs by assisting with rostering, stock control, ordering,
    inventory management and minimising wastage.
  • Coach, mentor and develop
    team members to build capability and deliver outstanding guest
    experiences.
  • Ensure brand standards, service procedures and presentation
    standards are consistently achieved.
  • Maintain high food safety, hygiene
    and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with all
    departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

What we
are looking for:

  • Previous leadership or supervisory
    experience within hotel Food & Beverage operations.
  • A passion
    for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest
    experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability
    to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with
    the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge
    of food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety
    requirements.
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster, including evenings,
    weekends and public holidays.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and
    a genuine passion for hospitality.
