the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna within
the Restaurant Team in Vienna, the F&B Supervisor is responsible for various
duties. The Demi Chef de Rang reports to the Assistant restaurant manager
and restaurant manager.
As F&B Supervisor you will be responsible
for the following tasks:
• Leading your own team and ensuring
smooth, guest-oriented workflows in the restaurant in close collaboration
with all hotel departments.
• Monitoring and coordinating the daily
operations in the restaurant.
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in
the implementation of checklists and standards.
• Training your team
on operational standards and guidelines of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Group.
• Ensuring the completion of mise en place, including cleaning
tasks.
• Maintaining, repairing, and properly using equipment, devices,
and utensils.
• Operating the POS system to process orders.
• Meeting
guest needs through excellent service and friendly, efficient work
practices.
• Actively upselling products and services to increase
revenue.
• Handling MOHG gift cards and cashless payment methods.
•
Performing billing tasks according to hotel standards and cash handling
procedures.
• Presenting dishes according to hotel standards.
• Adhering
to schedules for additional tasks and ensuring timely completion of all
assignments.
• Assisting with daily cash handling procedures and managing
inventory.
• Ensuring up-to-date product knowledge.
• Informing management
and kitchen about special guest requests or allergies.
• Assisting in other
restaurants as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
• Training and onboarding
new employees.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
As F&B Supervisor we are looking for:
• Education
in restaurant or hotel management: At least 2 years of professional experience
in a similar role.
• Customer orientation: Recognizing and exceeding guest
needs.
• Excellent product and sales knowledge.
• Teamwork: Actively
supporting colleagues and fostering a harmonious work atmosphere

Knowledge of Infrasys POS system and SevenRooms booking system
is desirable.

• Very good German and English skills:
Additional foreign language skills are a plus.
Our commitment
to you:
The collective
minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2.263,00. There is
a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and work
experience.
