Banqueting Chef de Partie

Mandarin
Oriental Conservatorium, Amsterdam is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our
Banqueting, In-Room-Dining & Lounge kitchen.

As Chef de Partie,
you will be responsible for the following duties:


  • You will be supervising the day-to-day operation of a designated section
    within the kitchen, overseeing all aspects of food production;

  • Delivering highest levels of quality and precision, preparing dishes in line
    with recipes and standards;
  • Maintaining highest levels of hygiene
    and cost control;
  • You will act as a role model and mentor to the junior
    members in the kitchen brigade, guiding and supporting them in their
    development.

As Chef de Partie we expect
from you:

  • Recent/current experience in the same position
    to that of Chef de Partie for at least two years;
  • A passionate
    and quality-driven approach to cooking;
  • Teamwork;
  • Good
    knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
  • Familiar
    with hygiene code and HACCP regulations;
  • Ability to work evenings
    and weekend shifts.
