The Role
Mandarin
Oriental Makati is seeking a dedicated IT Supervisor to join our pre-opening
team. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is vital in ensuring the smooth
day-to-day operation of the hotel’s technology systems. The IT Supervisor
will provide frontline support to colleagues and guests, assist with system
maintenance, and help implement Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) standards
across all IT functions.

Key Responsibilities


  • IT Operations & Support:
    - Deliver daily
    IT support to colleagues and assist with guest technology needs.
    -
    Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating
    complex matters to the IT Manager or vendors.
    - Carry out routine IT tasks,
    including infrastructure checks, endpoint device maintenance, and monitoring
    of core hotel applications.
    - Configure and maintain telephony systems
    to support hotel operations.


  • Audio Visual & Event Technology:

    - Provide IT and AV support for meetings, events, and guest functions.
    -
    Assist with event technology setup and coordinate AV requirements as delegated.

  • Team &
    Resource Support
    - Assist the IT Manager in scheduling daily assignments
    and managing team resources.
    - Provide guidance and training to colleagues
    on basic IT processes and system use.


  • Project & Change Support
    - Support
    the implementation of new systems and upgrades during the pre-opening phase.

    - Assist in managing change requests and ensuring smooth transitions
    with minimal disruption.
    - Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical
    issues efficiently.


  • Cybersecurity & Compliance
    - Help implement
    cybersecurity measures, including endpoint protection and vulnerability checks.

    - Monitor alerts and follow up on potential risks.
    - Support information
    security awareness training and ensure adherence to MOHG policies.

    Maintain IT documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.



  • Network Management
    - Assist with physical network
    troubleshooting and maintenance.
    - Support additional network requirements
    for events and special guest needs.


Qualifications &
Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informa
    Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.


  • Minimum 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably
    in hospitality or service-oriented industries.


  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and IT infrastructure.


  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting
    hardware, software, and network issues.


  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data privacy compliance.


  • Excellent problem-solving, communication,
    and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to adapt
    to the fast-paced environment of a pre-opening hotel.
