The Role

The
Culinary Admin Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication,
coordination, and administrative support for the Executive Chef and the culinary
team, contributing to the successful launch and sustained excellence of
the hotel’s food and beverage offerings.

Key
Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Support

  • Assist in
    the development and organization of culinary documentation, including menus,
    recipes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate
    with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment,
    ingredients, and supplies.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding,
    and training activities for culinary team members.

Operational
Coordination

  • Manage daily administrative tasks for the culinary
    department, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
  • Act
    as the central point of communication between the Executive Chef, culinary team,
    and other hotel departments.
  • Prepare reports, presentations,
    and meeting materials as required.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise
    with purchasing to maintain stock accuracy.

Quality &
Compliance

  • Ensure all culinary documentation aligns with Mandarin
    Oriental standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist
    in maintaining hygiene and safety records in compliance with HACCP and other
    food safety standards.

Guest & Event Support


  • Coordinate culinary requirements for banquets, events, and special
    functions.
  • Support the Executive Chef in guest engagement initiatives,
    including tastings and promotional activities.


Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in culinary administration or coordination
within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
• Strong organizational
and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent
communication skills in English and in Filipino.
• Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite and familiarity with hotel management systems.
• Passion
for hospitality and commitment to Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service
standards.
