The Role

The
Sales Executive – Catering & Events supports the Catering & Events Sales team
in driving revenue and building the market presence of Mandarin Oriental, Makati
during its opening phase. This role is responsible for handling inquiries,
coordinating event details, supporting client relationships, and contributing
to the delivery of memorable, high-quality events that reflect Mandarin
Oriental’s legendary service. This position is ideal for sales-driven
hospitality professionals eager to grow their careers within a world-class
luxury hotel brand.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support pre-opening catering and events sales activities, including database
    building, collateral preparation, and familiarization activities.

  • Handle incoming catering and events inquiries and assist in converting leads
    into confirmed business.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts,
    and event details in coordination with the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain
    clear communication with clients and ensure accurate handover of event
    information to operations teams.
  • Assist with site inspections, client
    meetings, pre-event briefings, and selected event executions.
  • Build
    and maintain client relationships to support repeat business and referrals.

  • Conduct post-event follow-ups and update sales records and CRM systems.

  • Uphold Mandarin Oriental brand standards, service excellence,
    and professional conduct at all times.


Qualifications & Success Profile

  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, Marketing, or a related
    field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, catering &
    events, or hospitality-related roles.
  • Luxury hotel or international
    brand exposure is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local events or corporate
    market is desirable.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with willingness to learn
    and grow.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for service excellence.
